  • Client needs

Building mobile application that gives an easy possibility to spend time on drinking coffee at the office together with workmates. The mobile app should be available for 3 platforms that support Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

  • Client resources

    Modern design

  • Our tasks

Developing app from scratch, creating database, integration with social media, design implementation

  • Solution

Focusing on high availability we decided to create Xamarin application easily accessible by using social media accounts. As a way to connect users we chose QR parsing or Facebook/Twitter connections. Every user should be able to pick the right persons and the right time to arrange coffee meeting by sending notifications. Technologies and tools used in the project as follows:

    • Xamarin
    • Azure Mobile Services
    • Microsoft Silverlight
  • Results

#Coffee is equipped with several features that help to move, in just a few seconds, from the first interaction to fix coffee meeting. The app provides an easy way to log in by Facebook or Twitter without signing in to application. With availability for major mobile platforms the app makes it easier to communicate with all workmates who love to drink coffee together. Additional statistics feature is responsible for counting quantity of coffee mugs consumed and overall time spent on meetings.

I love how simply #Coffee works. It can help you pick a time for personal get-togethers, such as coffee breaks. I also love that it solves a common problem with such ease. Who says you need to use group chats just to arrange a short meeting at canteen? You can use simplest personal coffee meeting tool on any mobile platform just for free.
