In this role you will
This project is about building a modern, wedding-focused platform for creating digital invitations and cards. You'll be reimagining the core product from the ground up, improving on the existing features while introducing new, customized options for wedding events. The goal is to offer a seamless, highly customizable experience for users while ensuring the product is scalable and maintainable for future growth. The product is still in its early stages, with plenty of opportunities for innovation and experimentation.
You'll:
➡️ Work with a nimble team of seasoned Rails developers
➡️ Design, build, test, and refactor scalable and performant features
➡️ Have the opportunity to own projects, and influence design and architecture
➡️ Review pull requests from team members and provide constructive feedback
➡️ Improve development processes and drive the direction of the product
Must have
Experienced in working with large, customer-facing, Ruby on Rails applications
Familiar with technologies such as RSpec/MiniTest, Next.JS/React, Sidekiq, Elasticsearch, MySQL/Postgres, Redis, MongoDB, Git, and AWS
Seasoned at writing, documenting, and supporting RESTful APIs
Comfortable working with and contributing to containerized environments and modern CI/CD pipelines
Proactive, curious, and collaborative, yet still thrive working independently
