In this role you will
➡️ Quickly get onboarded into Java/Kotlin PSP-Integration-Architecture ➡️ Implement adapter patterns for new PSPs with at least two payment methods: BECS Direct Debit & Credit Card ➡️ Work on full payment flows: Tokenization, Payment, Refund, Chargeback ➡️ Collaborate in a small, autonomous team of 2 engineers alongside a Product Manager ➡️ Contribute to architecture discussions and suggest improvements ➡️ Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
Must have
➡️ 4+ years of experience as a Backend JVM Engineer (Java/Kotlin) ➡️ Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate ➡️ Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (AWS Aurora) ➡️ Experience with RabbitMQ and containerized services (Kubernetes/AWS EKS) ➡️ Ability to adapt quickly and learn new architectures ➡️ Strong communication skills in Polish and English ➡️ Comfortable working remotely and independently
Nice to have
➡️ Experience with the spec-kit framework ➡️ Previous exposure to payment integrations or FinTech systems ➡️ Experience in microservices and adapter patterns
